Thomas Bowes, Violin

UK violinist Thomas Bowes has over 300 film credits to his name, working as concertmaster and soloist for composers including George Fenton, Alberto Iglesias and Alexandre Desplat (recent scores include The Choral, Armaga Navidid and Jurassic World: Rebirth). Alongside his session career he has been a section violinist with the London Philharmonic and the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, founding first violinist of the Maggini Quartet, and concertmaster of the London Mozart Players. His recordings since 2011 include the Walton and Barber violin concertos, the Bach Sonatas and Partitas, the complete Ysaÿe solo sonatas and the complete Telemann Fantasias.
